Ark Ideas Solution: Online Ordering & Inventory System
In an effort to efficiently distribute any product a wireless retailer would need, Ark ideas set out to develop an online ordering system. We evaluated the business model of our Master Agent client VIP Wireless to gauge what functionality this system should fulfill, and created a dynamic, cleanly branded ordering program which we could then customize for additional distributor clients. This system was a means by which distributors could digitize their full inventory system, as well as incorporate new revenue streams. The Wholesale System is accessible via the company's consumer website, through a password login unique to each location for ensured security. We wanted to provide an added value for owner-operators, and found that the creation of a comprehensive, online environment introduced a tangible benefit for owners and corporate alike. This system brings together location owners and corporate employees in a single destination, so that individual proprietors experience their license as a extended relationship, rather than a simple one-time transaction. Storeowners can purchase phones and accessories through our online ordering system, and their order is immediately processed at the warehouse level for next-day shipping on orders placed before 5pm. Accessories are automatically featured alongside their matching handsets within the site, for optimum ease of shopping. By securing relationships with offsite fulfillment centers, we have streamlined the ordering process such that we can include offerings from other companies to your customer base alongside yours, insuring that they do their full one-stop shopping with you. The integration of this system brought large-chain buying power to individual storeowners, and introduced new revenue streams on the corporate level, satisfying both elements of the otherwise distant corporate/storeowner relationship.
